The Lake of Ziros is located east of Preveza. The Thesprotian mountains rise to its west, while to the east flows Louros river with which it communicates underground. Lake Ziros is not fed by rivers or streams, but only by underground sources. The vegetation around the lake is especially dense & rich. Of particular beauty is the large forest of narrow-leaved ash that stretch's along its south shore.
Our Canoe Kayak in Lake of Ziros, uses single or two-seater canoes and starts from the south-east side of the lake. The route is circular and ends up in the same place again. We leisurely paddle along the shore and enjoy the amazing natural environment. Sheltered all around by green hills, the lake for most of the time, is perfectly calm... an opportunity not to be missed. Refreshing and cooling dives await!
