The uphill trail begins in the town of Kalavryta and follows the European long-distance path E4 for about seven kilometers, reaching the area of Valvousi. From there, we leave the E4 and continue along the eastern route towards Xirokambos and the Helmos Ski Center. The entire trail is well maintained, with clear markings and signposts at key points to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike.
Originally, this route was used by locals who walked from Kalavryta to Xirokambos on foot. Today, it offers an ideal hiking experience for those who love the mountains and the spirit of exploration. Along the way, we will spot different types of mushrooms, walk through beautiful fir forests and enjoy panoramic views over the town of Kalavryta.
