You’ll begin your amazing sea kayaking adventure at Kathara Beach in Faliraki. After a short introduction where you’ll learn everything you need to know, you’ll start paddling along the East Coast of Rhodes. The Sea Kayaking Tour – The Pirates’ Route lets you experience three of the island’s most beautiful beaches up close. Along the way, you’ll admire breathtaking rock formations and the dazzling colours of the Mediterranean Sea.
You’ll also have the chance to dive straight from your kayak into crystal-clear waters — a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The route includes visits to fascinating sea caves, another highlight of the Pirates’ Route that’s not to be missed.
Before your delicious and well-deserved picnic lunch on one of the locals’ favourite beaches, you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel and explore life beneath the surface. Those feeling extra adventurous can even try cliff jumping.
After enjoying your traditional Greek picnic lunch, you’ll paddle back along the coast. There’s no better or more eco-friendly way to explore the stunning shoreline of Rhodes. Throughout the tour, your expert guides will keep you safe, share local legends, and bring the island’s unique geography and wildlife to life.

All our kayaking guides have the following qualifications
The starting time of the tour is set at 08.00 for the guests who do not wish to use our pick up service and who choose to meet us at the starting location.
For those who choose the pick up and drop off add-on, the pick up time will be sent to them the day before the tour - it will be at approximately 08.00, and the tour will start at 08.45.
*Special remaks for cruise ship passengers :
We provide you with dry bags on the day for anything you would like to take on the tour and any valuables you may have, you can happily leave in a safe place. We also take many photos on the day, so you do not need your mobile phone or camera unless you have a waterproof one. In this way you can relax and enjoy the paddling and the beautiful scenery.
You are provided with PFDs when Kayaking so you will be perfectly safe while paddling and your Kayaking experience will take place using double/tandem kayaks. If you do not have a fellow traveller, we will pair you with another guest or one of our guides.
You are welcome to bring your own snorkelling equipment, but we also provide masks and snorkels for you.
On the day you will also be provided with a picnic lunch which is all vegetarian food.
