The 27th Annual Meeting of Trekking Hellas Group of Companies has concluded in the picturesque town of Kalavrita from January 22 to 24, 2024. Hosted by Trekking Hellas Achaea, the event brought together 130 individuals, including members from diverse Trekking Hellas bases across Greece and external partners.
Day 1 - Monday, January 22, 2024: Building Connections
The kick-off took place at Orias Guesthouse & Farm, where managers from the 20 Trekking Hellas bases convened to review the accomplishments of the past year and strategize for the future. In the afternoon, participants gathered at the Kalavrita Cultural Centre for a warm reception by Stefanos Sidiropoulos, CEO of Trekking Hellas, and Giannis Houliaras, owner of Trekking Hellas Achaea.
The evening featured an engaging presentation by Alexis Agrios, Director of the Kalavrita Ski Centre, showcasing the beauty of Kalavrita, followed by a brief overview of the Helmos Mountain Festival and the 4-season suitability of the mountain, by Giannis Kotileas. The evening wrapped up with an entertaining Geopark knowledge game, 🎁 and participants received commemorative goody bags, which included fleece snoods, pins and delicious raw energy bars, gifted by NUTREE.
Day 2 - Tuesday, January 23, 2024: Embracing Nature
The day commenced with a picturesque hike starting from Kalavrita's central square, exploring the Aesthetic Forest on an 8 km route. Post-hike, a delightful barbecue awaited participants at Orias Guesthouse & Farm.
The evening featured a dinner and pie-cutting event at the traditional Grand Chalet café restaurant, where awards were presented, including the Best Trekking Hellas Guide award, and prizes for the New Year's cake cutting winners: two €50 gift vouchers from POLO Center and a two-day stay at Orias Guesthouse & Farm.
Day 3 - Wednesday, January 24, 2024: Meetings and Leisure
