Personnel (Camp Leader - Activity Instructors):
The people who comprise the Vasilitsa Snow Camp team are trained and specialized in the activities included in the program, with many years of experience, and their primary focus is the dedication and care of the participants. They are knowledgeable in providing first aid and are friendly and approachable.
Camp Leader and Ski Instructor: George Tottas
With 25 years of experience in the field of outdoor activities, specifically in children's camps, a member of Trekking Hellas since 1993, he is a certified Mountain Guide by the Greek Mountaineering Association (EOOA) and a ski instructor. He is also a trainer in water sports, an International Ski Instructor certified by the Austrian federation, a raft guide, and a sea kayak guide with BCU certification. He possesses knowledge of first aid. With extensive experience as a seasonal worker ensuring the safety of visitors at The National Ski Centre in Vasilitsa, he also has knowledge of environmental protection as a graduate of Forestry.
Snowboard Instructor: Niki Basagianni
Niki Basagianni is a graduate Physical Education instructor from the Democritus University of Thrace and a certified snowboard instructor from the University of London.
Ski Instructor and Team Leader: Sofia Papadimitriou
Sofia Papadimitriou is a ski instructor certified by the General Secretariat for Sports, with extensive experience working with children. She is responsible for teaching and preparing the children of the Grevena Ski Mountaineering Club. As a mother, she understands both the peculiarities and the character of children, as well as their preferences for food, music, and activities.
Activity Instructors:
The activity instructors, specialized in their respective fields, design and coordinate the corresponding activities for the children's entertainment
Medical Coverage:
The activities instructors are knowledgeable in first aid and have a fully equipped medical kit. In the premises of the ski centre, there is a doctor and a medical office available throughout its operation. In case of a serious issue, the patient is transported to the Grevena General Hospital, which is 30 kilometres away from the refuge.
