Athens – Sea Kayak Seal’s Cave – Nafplio

In the morning, you’ll set off by car for your sea kayaking experience at the impressive Seal Cave. Starting from Alkyona Beach, you’ll paddle along a stunning coastline, passing pine covered capes, secluded beaches and striking rock formations. Along the way, we will discover hidden beaches like Lefki, explore secret sea caves, and swim in the famous Seal Cave – a natural wonder accessible by water. You will also enjoy some stops for swimming and relaxation at stunning spots reached only from the sea. Then you will depart for your final destination, the city of Nafplio, considered one of the prettiest towns in Greece, and the first capital after independence and a major port since the Bronze Age. Take your time to enjoy a stroll in the alleys of the town and climb the 999 steps to Palamidi fort to enjoy a panoramic view.

Overnight in Nafplion.

Mycenae – Epidaurus

After breakfast at your hotel, you depart in your own car for your visit to Epidaurus and Mycenae. Step into the legends of ancient Greece on an unforgettable guided tour. Marvel at the world-famous Theatre of Epidaurus with its flawless acoustics, then journey to mighty Mycenae, the kingdom of Agamemnon and one of Greece’s most important archaeological sites. With expert storytelling and breathtaking landscapes, this experience brings myth and history vividly to life—before returning to Nafplio.

Overnight in Nafplion.

Hike in Lousios Gorge

Enjoy your breakfast and then depart for your hike in Lousios Gorge. You will walk in trails parallel and through Lousios river gorge, also known as the “Mount Athos of the Peloponnese”, on account of the monasteries that appear to be literally hanging from the cliffs. You will visit the most historical monasteries and end the hike at the archaeological site of Ancient Gortyna, along the rushing Lousios river that used to be named Gortynios in ancient times. Your experience ends with a delicious homemade picnic made from Greek local ingredients. During the summertime you can also enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lousios.

Overnight in Stemnitsa.

Rafting in Lousios – Alfeios

Take your breakfast at the hotel and then depart for your rafting in Lousios and Alfeios rivers. Upon arrival to the village of Maratha, you will be given neopren suits and safety equipment to change. You will then get on our bus, taking you to the starting point. Your guides will give an introductory lesson on paddling and safety and let the fun begin! We will paddle in Lousios and Alfeios rivers, which are of 2nd degree of difficulty. We will make various stops for a swim in the river’s crystal-clear waters and for selfies in the densely vegetated gorge. Our ending takes place to the spectacular bridge of “Koukos” from where we will hike to a nearby waterfall.

Overnight in Stemnitsa.

Ancient Messene – Kardamyli

Heading toward the Mani Peninsula, we make a short detour to visit Ancient Messini, one of the most impressive and best-preserved archaeological sites in Greece. Remarkably intact, the city was never destroyed or built over by later settlements, allowing visitors to explore its sanctuaries, public buildings, private houses, fortifications, and funerary monuments in an open, authentic landscape. We then continue south into the heart of the Messinian Mani, arriving at the picturesque seaside town of Kardamyli, where stone houses, crystal-clear waters, and timeless charm create the perfect setting to experience the beauty of the Peloponnese.

Overnight in Kardamyli.

Sea Kayak in Kardamyli

Meet your guide at St. Johns Fishing Harbor, where you’ll receive a short briefing on paddling techniques and safety before setting off. Paddle at a relaxed pace along the coast as your guide share local legends and stories. Explore hidden coves, sea caves, rock gardens, and dramatic cliffs, with crystal-clear water revealing vibrant marine life—and, if you’re lucky, a sea turtle gliding below. The highlight of the trip is the Blue Cave, where sunlight reflects off the sea floor, filling the cave with an intense aquamarine glow. Enjoy a swim inside this natural wonder before weaving your kayaks through striking rock formations. Midway, stop at a secluded beach to swim, relax, and enjoy a homemade picnic with fresh local flavors. After lunch, we paddle back to the harbor, and we travel even further deep in Mani, in Limeni village.

Overnight in Areopoli.

Diros Caves – Mystra – Athens

We start our day with a visit to Diros Bay where we will tour the impressive Glyfada Sea caves. These caves, open to the public since 1963, are rated amongst the best of their kind in the world. You can visit the caves by boat and admire the delicate stalactites and stalagmites. We continue our journey along the southern slopes of the impressive Mt. Taygetus to Sparta and the Byzantine citadel of Mystras. Built in 1249 by William of Villehardouin, Mystras developed as a fortified, amphitheatrical town around its hilltop castle, just 8 km west of modern Sparta. Over the centuries, Mystras passed from Byzantine to Ottoman and Venetian rule before being abandoned in 1832, leaving behind remarkably preserved medieval ruins. Today, its fortress, palaces, churches, and monasteries rise dramatically from the mountainside, set within a stunning natural landscape. In 1989, Mystras was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening arrive in Athens.
